Sovereign worked with EPA Region 3 to provide technical support and field sampling of perfluorinated compound (PFC) groundwater contamination under the CERCLA Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) Contract Program. As a subcontractor, Sovereign supported the Region 3 START Prime Contractor and EPA with qualified field personnel to sample and monitor PFC contamination of residential drinking water wells. This work required hands-on knowledge and experience with EPA-approved sampling techniques, sample management and custody, field documentation and interaction with analytical laboratories.
