In January 1999, the founding members of Sovereign Consulting Inc. pursued a shared vision of a new environmental consulting firm where financial strength, dedication to clients, and commitment to employees created a winning company. Their goal was to foster a singular corporate culture which encourages outstanding project performance through teamwork, winning, hard work, commitment to clients, and mutual respect. Sovereign set out to be the best place to work for the best people in the environmental industry. Within 10 years, Sovereign grew to 10 times its original size without acquisition or merger. What started as 17 environmental professionals in one office is now a company of more than 135 employees spread across 17 offices in 12 states, earning more than $80M in revenue over the last 3 years.
